As we are located in Bundoora which is approximately 17km north of the CBD, we typically deliver to the northern suburbs including Bellfield, Greensborough, Fairfield, Thornbury, Northcote, Epping and many other surrounding areas.
Our pre-mix concrete is useful for a variety of building, renovating and both small and large projects and our concrete suppliers can provide you with a wide range of options to ensure that your specific needs and requirements are met.
A unique aspect of Concord is our mini mix truck which, as the name suggests, is much smaller than regular sized trucks. It allows us to enter many more streets and roads than other trucks, especially handy if you live in an area that cannot accommodate large vehicles, if you are located in a laneway or have a small driveway or backyard. Therefore, if you’re after concrete delivery in a tight spot, we can still help you. Our small truck can deliver loads of any size, starting from 0.4m3.
Concord specialiseS in mixes for footpaths, driveways, re-stumping, interior flooring, exterior entertaining areas, pool surrounds, and many more developments no matter how big or small.
We also offer Stabilised Sand mixes which are frequently used in the construction industry for their strength and quick processing time.
Coloured Concrete
Coloured concrete has been a leader in decorative cement for many years and is widely used for commercial paving, residential flooring, landscaping, garden paths, driveways and outdoor entertainment areas.
Concord is a registered supplier of both Abilox – coloured concrete providers that offer a number of bright and durable shades. Concord can give you access to 50 different tints so you are bound to find the perfect tone for your project!
Our team has an in-depth understanding of the processes behind creating an aesthetically pleasing final product every time.
The colour we use is not a stain, paint or dye; it is made of pigments that we add to the cement base mix. Getting the ratio correct is absolutely paramount to achieving consistent colour and a critical reason that you need an experienced business like Concord to supply the mix. Another important factor affecting the final outcome is the shade of the concrete to begin with. For example, dark grey cement will result in a darker shade than a lighter cement – and this is a variable that only experienced businesses like Concord understand and can preempt, ensuring that consistency is maintained across your entire development.
Concord uses the most durable products in our mixes in order to counteract common problems like surface cracking and colour change as a result of pollution, traffic, dirt and efflorescence.
Polyrock
POLYROCK is the answer to all lightweight fill situations. Made of moulded Expanded Polystyrene (EPS), POLYROCK offers a unique combination of very low density, significant load-bearing capacity and long-term stability.
Weighing in at just 1% the weight of conventional fill, POLYROCK blocks are super fast and easy to install and virtually eliminate the lateral and vertical movement and complete bearing failure often associated with road construction on poor load bearing soils. There is also minimal settlement or long-term compression of soil layers. This can lead to substantially reduced costs for structures, foundations or ground improvements and on going maintenance costs.
Permeable Concrete
Permeable concrete provides the optimal solution to surface and stormwater management. It naturally improves drainage through the unique design of the water management system.
You can use it for concrete flatwork applications that allow water from precipitation and other sources to pass directly through it, thereby reducing stormwater runoff from a site and allowing groundwater recharge, meeting council requirements.
